Why magnesium?
All of us are lacking in magnesium, supplementing our intake of magnesium has been shown to be AS EFFECTIVE as treatment with vitamin C.
Magnesium | How much to take?
A 400 mg dose per day is recommended in the following papers.
The RDI of Magnesium is between 300 and 400 mg per day, dependent on age and gender.
Magnesium | what type should I get?
Any form of magnesium will work, the papers we are referencing were using Magnesium Chloride solutions.
Magnesium Carbonate MgCO3 will dissolve in stomach acid to form Magnesium Chloride. This is one of the cheapest forms of magnesium supplement on the market. If you have supplies of actual Magnesium Chloride you will be able to do the following.
Using a MgCl2 solution.
Mix 25 grams MgCl2 in a liter of water. Depending on body size (tiny infant to an adult), give 15 to 125 ml of this solution four times daily. If the taste is too salty/bitter it can be added to fruit juice. This solution may also be effective when put in a spray bottle and squirted into the mouth.
